Jake is an unhandled Colville Mustang stallion, rumored to be around 8 years old. He carries a rough past, evident in the broken rope halter dangling from just one ear. While he shows curiosity toward people, his fear is overwhelming—our trainer was only able to get within 15 feet of him.
His severely overgrown hooves and lack of handling make it clear that Jake needs a home where he can receive dedicated, one-on-one training in a secure round pen. Mustang experience is a requirement. Training experience is a requirement. He will come with a gelding contract. He is not a project for a beginner or someone without the facilities to properly work with him.
If someone is willing to donate panels, we could secure sponsorship for his care and bring him into our program. However, if a suitable home isn’t found, Jake will face euthanasia—this is his last chance.
