Twister is a 4-year-old BLM mustang gelding who just finished 100 days of training for the Dakota Showdown. He stands about 14.2–14.3 hands, has a solid build, and has a very thick mane and tail. He was trained by Bryan Roselles—a two-time Reserve Champion in the challenge—who describes Twister as a friendly, level-headed young horse who likes to learn and wants to please his person
Instead of just doing arena work, Twister spent his summer putting on real-world miles in the Black Hills. He has been covering rough country, navigating hills, moving longhorn cattle, and working around dogs and gates. He is safe, smart, and handles new environments confidently. With his solid foundation and willing attitude, he is ready to go in any direction, whether you want a trail horse, ranch horse, or a project to keep developing.
