Maggie is a sweet, petite, incredibly intelligent mustang mare. She’s been under saddle for the past year and a half. No real fancy riding by any means but has made sound progress. Light on the mouth with a very nice, laid-back trot. We’ve done plenty of groundwork to offset her wild mustang background but that will need ongoing work. We’ve ridden western in the round pen, big arena and has done phenomenal on trail rides with a horse buddy in lead. She has a well-built little frame, trailers great even in front facing trailer, naturally well-kept feet, stands decent for the farrier, beautiful chestnut shiny coat in the summer and mountain pony fluff during the winter. She has always been eager to please throughout her training and will be best with an intermediate to advanced rider as she is a very smart cookie. Maggie means so much to our family, we want to find her the perfect situation for her to continue her growth in all aspects.
