Scarlett

Scarlett is an off-the-track thoroughbred.  She failed as a race horse because she lacks the competitive spirit, which makes her a great trail horse.  She is used to heavy equipment and noise, so is unphased by buses, motorcycles, or mowing equipment.  She has been my personal horse since we bought her as a 4-year old, but hasn’t been ridden much in the past few years, so I’d recommend her for an intermediate or above rider.

This is an adoption, with a $500 adoption fee, and the adopter responsible for transportation.

Potential adopters must:

• Provide adequate shelter and pasturage for the adopted horse, either at your property or at an approved boarding facility.
• Demonstrate the financial capability to support the adopted horse.
• Sign a waiver of liability and no auction/no kill contract.
