Wonderful Whinni

Hi! I’m Sunny and I want to introduce my lady and bff, Whinni. She is a 2000, 15hh, sorrel and white Paint mare. We have had an exclusive relationship for 5 years and act like an old married couple. Whinni is not to be ridden due to age, arthritis and for goodness sake, she needs to retire and beautify a pasture. She has arthritis and takes Equioxx (or Firocoxib) daily. Whinni’s an easy keeper although her teeth are bad, so her feed is soaked, and she gets chopped hay. She has an old rear leg injury that makes her a little gimpy. It is completely healed but hair doesn’t grow on it so fly boots with Desitin or Swat keep the flies away. Whinni has no bad habits and loves attention from all (she’s kind of nosy, actually). She is wonderful around kids, a delightful mare and best of all, she adores me. If possible, we would love to stay together, but that is not a deal-breaker. A new forever and loving home is what we need most.

We live and are loved in Clarks Grove, MN. For more information and the chance to meet both of us, contact: adopt@thisoldhorse.org. Whinni and Sunny are available for adoption.
