Stormi is a 23 year old OTTB (off the track Thoroughbred) mare who was passed around from owner to owner for many years and bred multiple times during those years. She ended up with an elderly man who worked at the stables where she was being boarded. He had health issues and dumped the horse on his 16 year old grandson who was struggling to pay for her. The kid called us and we agreed to take her. She was very underweight and has an old tendon injury, which our Vet assures us it is not painful. She is currently in rehabilitation, getting some good weight back on, her feet back in good shape and lots of love, as she is a very sweet and kind girl. Her monthly expenses are high as she’s on a high calorie diet, supplements for her joints and feet as well as frequent trims for her feet. THIS MARE IS COMPANION ONLY.
