Bear retired from racing 10/11/23 and was sold from the track by his trainer.
Unfortunately the buyer realized he was too much for her, as she was just getting back into horses, and donated him to us just a few weeks ago. Bear has not been restarted under saddle and would very much like to have a job. He has been just hanging out since retiring last year. Bear can be pushy on the ground and in turnout with others. He does well with a pasture mate that will put him in his place. He was retired sound with no known limitations. He is barefoot and doing well. Ready to be restarted by an experienced OTTB handler.
