Smokey did not progress well with his first trainer, and in mid-July he was transferred to Kaylee Peel. He has progressed well with the change and is doing well with:
⭐ Catching, leading, and tying
⭐ Standing for grooming and fly spray
⭐ Picking up feet for the farrier
⭐ Loads into a trailer
⭐ Accepts a bridle and saddle
⭐ Lunges and moves haunches and shoulder
⭐ Has accepted a rider

He may potentially be moved into the Long Haul Division depending on where he is on August 24.
