Belle stood in the arena to be groomed and tacked. She stood at the mounting block to be mounted like a lesson horse and waited to be told to walk off from the block. She picked up lunging very quickly and lunges both directions well.
This girl is sweet, but cat like—she will take the love when she wants it, but the rest of the time she just wants to be told how beautiful she is. Belle likes having a job, she is smart and brave with a mare opinion. She will test her rider by standing by the gate and refusing to move and by swinging her head, but once she knows her rider is confident and in control she gives up and moves out wonderfully.
Belle has no known limitations and is very athletic. We believe she would excel in barrels or eventing but she would also make a great trail horse (I just think she would like to do more than just trail ride here and there).
