NELLY is a beautiful black Mule. Thanks to a tip through the horse rescue network, we rescued her in 2017 the day before she was scheduled to be shipped out to slaughter. Nelly is a former competitive show mule. Although suffering from arthritis and weak tendons from too much competitive jumping, she is now thoroughly enjoying her retirement.
