I don’t need to sell him but he’s mostly hanging out and not living to his potential. He is going to make a certain kids dreams come true. He rides out willingly, walks at a great clip, is super responsive and light in the mouth. He’ll be awesome for the kinda kid who loves to do it all. ASAP has been around cattle and his previous kid roped off him,  but around here he really shines on the trail.  He can ride independently in a snaffle bit,  or can pony up behind bigger horses. He moves out nicely and carries my 135lbs up the mountains no problem.  Got great feet and a smooth trot.

Unlike some ponies, he’s not a manipulative jerk 😂 However, like most ponies,  he IS an easy keeper 😂  Never foundered or anything,  just got a bit of extra cushion. So comfortable to ride bareback!

He’s low in the pecking order and is a bit head-shy. He is a little shy owing to being lower in the pecking order, and doesn’t trust having a lot of commotion over his backside,  but with that being said I’ve flagged him out plenty and he gets used to it and confident pretty quick.

He loads into the trailer great,   stands for farrier, and is just a low key guy. He’s smart,  willing,  strong, sound, has really nice bones,  solid feet (never shoed his dark hooves and he’s been fine up on rocky trails), quick and athletic.  Not to mention he is cute as all get-out. That hair!!!!

I was told he can pull a carriage/cart, too, and when I ground drove him, he steered clean and easy.

I put the cart before the horse when I got him for my son who was only a few months old.  I just hate to see him sit around when he could make a kids dream come true.  If there’s no interest in him,  I’ll take it as a sign and keep him! But,  I want to put it out there in case the family looking for this exact pony needs him in their life. He’s a real gem 🙏🏽will sell sound and up to date on all vaccines,  negative Coggins.
