Cricket is an amazing little horse who would be perfect for kids. She was a former camp horse in ohio ,then dumped at auction, purchased by a trader who then took her to an auction in nc. She was purchased by someone for $2200. She was then starved for a few months and listed on craigslist so we saved her. She put weight on great, has updated shots, coggins, farrier, and had her teeth floated. Shes currently being used by my trainer for riding lessons. Shes way more whoa than go and prefers to follow. ( as most camp horses do) she rides in a sidepull or a hack amd does just fine. I do require all adopters to sign no resale contracts. Any horse adopted from my rescue must stay woth the adopter or be returned to my rescue. I do this to ensure their safety and so they dont get passed around , flipped at auction over and over , or worse end up in the slaughter pipeline. 100% safe for anyone who knows how to sit in a saddle and steer.
