Java is a friendly, stout Gray Ranch and Trail Gelding who enjoys people and attention. He’s quick to meet you at the gate and ready for his halter. He has experience in ranch work, gathering and sorting pairs, and has also been used as a trail horse with plenty of miles outside.
He has a steady jog and lope and is quiet on the trail. Java is easygoing and would be a good fit for riding clubs or casual trail riding. He handles traffic and commotion well.
Java is easy to catch, lead, load, haul, stands tied, bathes, grooms, picks feet, saddles, bridles, and is calm for the vet and farrier. He stands for mounting and dismounting, responds to neck rein and direct rein, backs up, side passes, and works a gate.
