Smarty lives up to his name. He is a genius. He learns things, good and bad, in a single fell swoop. Therefore, he is in no way, shape or form a beginner’s horse. Although we have used him to longe beginners in teaching them to ride. He is stout, sound, sane; up-to-date on everything, freshly shod. First time I free-jumped him he took my breath away. Knees up around his ears. He is bold enough to be an Extreme Cowboy Race horse, quick enough to play polo. He could check an opposing mount all the way to the boards, no problem. You could take him whatever way you wanted to go. I had a car wreck; I broke my back in four places; I may never ride again. He is too nice to sit here and rot. My loss will be your gain.
