“Bulleit” is a 15.3 hand ex ranch gelding. He was diagnosed with a small amount of arthritis in his left front. The previous owners felt that if they continued to use him for the extremely hard ranch work that he was used to, it would cause his arthritis to progress faster than if he just became a trail horse. Since Bulleit has been with us, we have seen no lameness at all. He is an excellent riding horse that needs an experienced hand as he walks like he is on a mission and can be a little intimidating to someone who doesn’t have the confidence to handle him. He is NOT a beginner’s horse or a husband horse. Bulleit was a little underweight when he came to us but has been putting his weight on nicely with a diet of Purina Equine Senior, supplements, free feed grass hay all day and alfalfa at night. He is easy to catch, leads, loads, rides in the trailer quietly, and stands for the farrier. He has no problem with fly spray and ties quietly. Bulleit is UTD on deworming, vaccines, farrier work, and has a current Coggins. If you are interested in Bulleit, please contact us for more information.
