“Derby” is an appendix mare out of Perks Alive. She is a stunning mare ready to go in any direction her next person will take her. She has been hauled to rodeos, barrel races, and down the long road from Montana to Arizona. She is gritty and athletic. She has been casually started on barrels but can go in any direction. She is looking for a job and to be someone’s main horse. She was raised in our family, ground work done with a Buck Branaman method by myself. She has a personality and will talk to you in the most nonverbal way that a horse communicates. She is intelligent and can tie, load, and get her feet done. She has yet to have her first set of shoes because the quality of her hoof is too good to need shoes at this point. I would love to keep her but I am starting over in life and need to get back on my feet before I continue in the horse world.
