Peptos Stylish Lad “Pep” is officially available for adoption! Pep is a 10 year old REGISTERED Quarter Horse, standing about 15H. He has a handful of rides under his belt, by another trainer. From what we have been told, he was started a few years back, and then sat in a pasture until recently. He is a beautiful mover that is ready to go any direction. When we got him, he had 3 dread locks in his tail, and those have come out, and he has a thick tail! He does seem most sensitive to sounds, and needs help building his confidence. He does well with a gentle, but confident hand – and is very eager to please. He is middle to bottom of the herd. He is always ready to meet you at the gate, but when he sees the halter he will turn around. If you stop and give him a minute, he joins up rather quickly. He loves to be loved on, but isn’t sure about anything other than horse treats (will not take apples, carrots etc. yet). This boy is ready to find his forever home!
