Kevlar has been through a lot and needs someone who can be consistent, patient and kind to bring out the best in him.

Kevlar is a 2016, 15hh, bay Arabian gelding.  He has come a long way with still more to do. His name was changed to Kevlar after a bullet ricocheted off his head.  He went to foster thin and with little handling.  Kevlar found a home with his dam and a new friend.  He loves to play.  The new family has worked with him and he is improving but lacks confidence and can go into flight/fight mode quickly.  Kevlar needs someone that will continue his training by being very patient, consistent and calm.  He will not do well with any force.  Kevlar is an awesome companion but it is hard to say if he will be awesome to ride.  So much depends on his handler.  Kevlar should be with an experienced horse handler and of course, a herd.  He needs to feel safe and loved before any additional training.  Are you the one to bring out the best in Kevlar?!?!
