I am a delightful, handsome, chestnut, American Saddlebred gelding. I am rideable (nothing fancy) and do well once trust is built.

My fancy name is Silk Royale but most people call me Shaq. I am a tall (16.2hh), 2004, chestnut, American Saddlebred gelding. I am a retired lesson horse but am being worked with. I mostly like to walk and trot and am very good on the lunge line and under saddle. I use a bitless bridle. I don’t care much for a bit but maybe because I need my teeth floated?? Also I could stand to gain a few pounds before winter. My only other not so good trait is that I am buddy sour but after a little work, I get focused on you. I just need a little TLC. My handler says I am a loving affectionate horse that will go so far with the right person that will take the time to allow me to trust them. She also says that I am a good listener and a sweetheart.
