HANK is a Chestnut Quarter Horse gelding. We were able to out bid the kill buyer at auction in 2017 and save him from slaughter. Hank was a great trail horse, reliable and hard working, until he came down with chronic Lyme disease. It’s now under control but will never be cured. Hank still looks out for and protects the weaker horses in the herd. He won’t come in from pasture in the morning until he’s sure that the last horse has come in.
