Dasher

Dasher is a yearling Hackney pony gelding currently standing at 11.2hh. Don’t let the Hackney pony part fool you, though; he’s an easygoing boy. He is confident but needs some reassurance about new things. Most of his objections are questions, as in, “Is this going to eat me?” He is smart, cute, and funny. Dasher can lead, load, tie, pick up all four feet, and we are working on ground driving. Dasher very much likes his humans, and he will seek you out for comfort and attention. He currently lives in a herd of geldings and is at the bottom of the totem pole. He has also lived with a cow, peacefully. He has been exposed to all sorts of real-life things and nothing much bothers him. Dasher would be a fun pony to drive, show in hand, or he’d make an extra cute, extra sweet companion. Dasher is still only a youngin so he will need a confident partner to continue showing him the ropes. He would pair well with a beginner under the help of a trainer.
