Buddy is the ultimate kids’ horse, with a wealth of experience under his belt. An ex-rodeo arena horse and former kid’s lesson mount, he is well-trained, dependable, and as solid as they come.
Ridable in just a halter and lead rope, Buddy responds to both plow and neck reining, knows a reining circle, and can side pass (though a bit rusty). Despite being in his early 20s, he’s in great shape and shows no signs of lameness or soreness. He still has some go and wants to go faster. Not a deadhead, but still a couch of a ride. His hooves are in decent condition, though he will likely need his teeth floated to maintain his overall health and condition.
He’s getting over a cold, but has been seen by the vet, so he is on the mend.
With the right care and maintenance, Buddy has plenty left to give and would make a fantastic partner for a young rider or anyone looking for a trustworthy, been-there-done-that kind of horse.
