Beautiful Amina arrived at our rescue in October 2024. She was saved by a donor from a lot in Michigan. She is skittish but loves cookies. She has put on weight and we are giving her lots of treats and love. She was terrified of everything when she came. Dana and Al, our volunteers, have been working with her and she has made big improvements. Dana has done ground work with her and desensitization, and was able to put a saddle pad on her with no issue. She needs a caring person with patience who will love her and give her a peaceful home. We do not know if she has been ridden. Once haltered, she is easy to handle, sweet, and gentle. She has a beautiful, smooth gait and is fun to watch. Amina’s pasture mate is an older mare, Ranna. If you are interested in both, please talk with us, but it is not required that they be adopted together.
