Beautiful Pasture Companion Available for Adoption

Athena was used as a broodmare most of her life and then went through the auction where she was purchased by a kill buyer. She does have trust issues but over time has gotten better. When we got her, you could not do much with her but now she enjoys attention, treats and loves to be brushed. She is a dominant mare and will protect anyone in the pasture with her. Athena loves foals and bonded with Mai’s when she had hers. That being said she is not broke to ride and is a pasture companion only, due to arthritis in her right front leg.
