$5,000 FIRM Price to Increase With Competition Experience Thus Summer

We know Rip is worth more than we are asking. But vet bills on other horses, and a full barn of client horses has us listing him for well below his worth.  So don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity!

Rip is that kind of horse (pony) that a rider who wants to perform LOVES. He’s athletic, responsive, and feely in all the ways you want. He learns quickly, and even when you get busy, you can come back and he is not going to be a fire breathing dragon.  He has three smooth gaits (his lope is to die for). He stays in the gait he is in unless asked for more.  When moving out he doesnt require constant leg to keep going.  He has a solid foundation, and can go in any direction or discipline. He’s started over fences, has competed in introductory endurance (which he LOVED), camped out overnight with over 100 other horses, and is lightly started on the barrel pattern. He can pony or be ponied, at home or on the trail. Loves water, and to swim.  He can be ridden in any style saddle, or bareback. This pony wants to please and has so much try in him.

Rip can be ridden out 100% alone, or in a group. He did almost all of his training rides for his endurance race last summer by himself, and he did most of the race on his own as well.  He has ridden out with large and small groups and behaves himself well no matter his company.

Rip has had confident intermediate riders on him in lesson settings and done well. So confident intermediate with a trainer would be suitable, but we think he would thrive with the chance to perform with someone more experienced.

Around the farm, Rip is the first one to walk up for attention in the field. And will get even the most docile of his pasture mates to play with him.  He holds his own in a herd.  Not on the top, not on the bottom.  VERY active and playful when turned out.  He currently lives out 24/7 but has beens stalled and handles it well. No stable vices, stands tied, clips, bathes, and stands well for the farrier.

Health wise Rip is an easy keeper, and barefoot. He has no previous injuries, and has always been sound. He is UTD on coggins, vaccines, farrier, and dentist.

Rip will require an application, Right of First Refusal/No Auction/Slaughter Contract, and references. We hate to see him go, but can’t wait to see him thrive with his heart human
