Description
Skies is a willing little mare who has quite a bit of experience under her belt already, including XC schooling at Twin Towers, dressage shows, hunter competitions, & quite a bit of trail riding. She has even done a mounted archery clinic! Our head trainer has ridden her around the farm bridleless before. Skies is they type of mare who comes to work with a good attitude, & she enjoys learning new things.
Her ideal rider is someone who is outgoing and wants to get on and grow with her. She can take a joke but needs a steady hand to really get her flat work down. We think her future lies in a hunter/jumper home!
Skies is available for adoption through Friends of Ferdinand Inc, a Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance accredited organization that specializes in re-training off track Thoroughbreds. All the horses in our retraining program come fully vetted, with test rides for qualified adopters, and with 30-day trial periods.
