Description
OFFLEE BRAWN "Lee" is a handsome 9-year-old, 16.1hh dark bay gelding looking for a fresh start at a second career. He is sweet, friendly and quite intelligent. He learns quickly and genuinely wants to please his rider. Lee has no known limitations and is full of potential for a successful future!
Lee is relatively quiet and is described by his trainers as forward-thinking and sensible. He is advancing well in his flat work and has begun to learn basic lateral movements. He has a lovely, balanced and rhythmic canter and will have no trouble making it down the lines. He also loves to jump! He enjoys being ridden around the property and is relaxed and brave. With no injuries or limitations, Lee would make a fun project for an experienced rider!
Lee has great ground manners and is very easy to work with. He stands quietly for grooming and enjoys having his face curried. He also loves to drink out of the hose at bath time! He gets along well with other horses and would prefer to live outside as much as he can. Lee does crib and wears a cribbing collar.
Lee is lightly raced and retired sound after 12 starts. His last race was September 1, 2018. Lee’s owner decided to get out of racing, so he spent a few years relaxing in turnout before coming to CANTER Michigan in late 2021. He’s had no health issues and only routine vet and farrier visits while in training.
