Description

ABOUT WORF

Worf was surrendered to Bluebonnet when his owners were investigated for neglect. He had not been handled much before coming to the rescue. He was gelded in March 2021.

His foster home is an equine veterinarian, and she feels that although he is short, he is very stout and could likely handle being ridden by a teenager or small adult, once trained.

EVALUATION AND TRAINING

When Worf arrived, it seemed like he had little handling. He can now be caught in a small pen/catch pen, but he’s still hard to catch in a larger area. He leads and seems to like attention. His foster home hasn’t had time to do a lot with him, and he would really benefit from an adopter who can work with him a few times a week and help him come around.
