Description
Peppermints Image, or "Pepper", is a beautiful, much loved senior paint mare in search of the perfect retirement home. Pepper is 27 years young and in great physical condition. With the exception of some arthritis in her hocks, you would never guess her true age! Pepper has lived with the same family for over 20 years and due to unforeseen circumstances, she is in need of a loving new home. Pepper has been alone for several years now but would very much appreciate an equine companion or two for company. She is a very sweet and gentle soul- excellently behaved for our vet on her introductory exam! Pepper enjoys being groomed and would appreciate a home that will pamper her and tell her how lovely she is. If you're looking for a lovely, pleasant senior companion who doesn't need much maintenance or special accommodations- this is your mare!
Pepper is currently residing with her owners until a suitable foster home is found for her. If there is any possibility of Pepper moving from her old home directly into a forever home, we feel that would be in her best interest.
