Dahlshai Malachi, aka Razz, is a beautiful 22 y/o chestnut Arabian gelding (15.3 HH) whose life has been impressively glittered with training and triumphs! From being a Western Pleasure Regional Champion to 4-H and trail-riding to dressage, this boy has done it all! Unfortunately, arthritic changes in his front legs (canon bones and pasterns) have crept in to encourage an earlier-than-desired retirement. This boy prefers a walk or a canter to a trot, as this seems to be where the most discomfort lies. He does seem comfortable with a slow, straight trot and would do well with light riding. It should be noted that he is also on medication for Cushings and does have a history of choke, so his feed must be soaked.

Temperamentally, he is a doll. He has his Arabian moments because, well, he IS an Arabian after all! With as much training as he has had, he is sensitive to the slightest touch and would do best with an experienced rider. He stands well for the farrier, takes his shots like a champ, and is an overall LOVELY guy! Help a girl help a horse and consider him as your next equine companion, would ‘ya?
