Thank you to Sunni Bell Stables
You’re an amazing partner to HOP and Horses!
ATFO candidate in training at Sunni Bell Stables.*
Taylor Swift
(Registered name “Annie CVH”)
2006 Haflinger pony (not gaited)
Palomino mare
13.3 hh
FEE: $2,000 (Set by trainer)
*TRAINING: This horse is part of a special training event called the Appalachian Trainer Face Off. You can learn about it on the ATFO Facebook page or website. Horses in this training event are adoptable in August, following 100+ days of training.
Horses in the Showcase Division of the ATFO have various histories. Many have had a lot of training; some may need a little maintenance. Just ask us! Plus, they are adoptable BEFORE the August ATFO event!
The adoption fee is often set by the trainer and may increase with more training, so please contact us to find out the current fee.
This spunky little lady has been under saddle for about seven weeks. Just look at how beautifully she moves in the picture above. Sunni Bell Stables welcomed Taylor Swift to Pennsylvania as a foster for the ATFO Showcase Division.
Her trainer says, “We do not think she has any prior riding experience and she has been under saddle with us for about 7 weeks. She is super friendly and kind. We have been going very slow with her to help her gain muscle. She can still be a little pushy on the ground.
“Taylor would be great for trail riding or ring work. We have started her over cross rails and she will try anything.” Take a look at how this lovely pony moves in this video! Could she be Taylor-made for you?
Don’t hesitate to check out the adoption information below and make plans to take this good girl home!
Adoption Info:
Adoption fees may be outdated, as a horse may have moved into training, so check with us on most current fee. Horses adopted are typically up to date on vaccines, dental floats, farrier care and all vet needs.
Horses are typically located in the Appalachian area, but please inquire about a horse’s specific location when you apply!
We are looking to adopt to safe homes.
A history of good horsemanship, the ability to provide sufficient care with good vet, farrier and peer references are important. If you are a first-time horse owner, we will require you to board at a facility for the first year while you learn more about care. We encourage everyone to take advantage of riding lessons.
Foal adoptions require previous, established experience with youngsters.
Our adoption process makes sure you get the right horse for you – it is a no-fail process for finding the right match.
