“Stanley” is a 18 year old dark bay Standardbred gelding. He came to us through the kill-buyer’s truck and was community bailed. He was brought into our rescue as no one wanted him when he was available to the public. “Stanley” is stands 15.2 hands and is all nervous love bug.
“Stanley” is a cute gelding that we think was an Amish horse before he made his way to auction. We have rode him both bareback and in a saddle. He didn’t seem to know very much but was very willing to learn! “Stanley” has a great head and shows a lot of intelligence. He is a little nervous on the right side and handles well from the left side. He is one that needs to learn to trust his person. Once a new partner spends time with him, he will open up to you!
“Stanley” is a little over in the knee but it does not affect his gait at all. He is sound and has a long trot stride! “Stanley” can be a very solid trail mount for someone willing to put in the time for his saddle time. He is great for the veterinarian and farrier. He ties, picks up all four feet and loads in the trailer.
“Stanley” just needs a fun, trusting home that wants to share the trails with him!
“Stanley’s” adoption fee is $750. He is fully vaccinated, hooves maintained, dewormed, microchipped and teeth float.
