Nelson is a sweet baby who came to GSH from auction when he was sold with his mother in the ring, only for the buyer to say he didn’t want the baby. We bid and brought him home!
He is a curious guy who is learning quickly. He is now gelded and had a small umbilical hernia fixed. He is easy to be around, though can be difficult to catch in a large space, and is still learning to be consistent with leading. Once caught he’s accepting of touch and was a trooper for the vet! He isn’t overly reactive and thinks through things. He has loaded onto a trailer for us but potential adopters should remember that he is just a baby and may not always remember or understand what he is being asked.
