On the ground Gogo has been a very good boy for only being 3 years old! He loves people and is super sweet and easy to work with and is generally well-mannered. He crossties well and stands nicely for grooming.
In the pasture/stable Gogo has gone out by himself then was gradually introduced to 2 calm geldings in the pasture and has done very well. Only being off the track for a few months he is just learning about herd dynamics so would do best with non dominant horse to start until he figures out the turnout routine.
Under saddle Have you seen the video? Hard to believe this newbie has only had a handful of rides! He is doing well at the walk/trot/canter and is learning to bend and accept contact with the bit. He is athletic with a nice, rhythmical canter . He has a great career ahead of him, but at this stage in his training, we feel his perfect match is an advanced rider who is ready to finish his training in whatever direction they choose to go.
Background and care Gogo has no known injuries, just too slow to race. He is currently wearing front shoes and should continue being shod. As a 3 year old he is still gangly and growing but doesn’t require anything but time to fill out He is up to date on Coggins vaccines and dental.
Any medical records and pertinent history are available to interested and approved adopters. CANTER Michigan always recommends a PPE.
