Safe: Tucker’s calm and steady demeanor makes him a fantastic choice for riders seeking a horse they can trust. He’s best matched with someone who knows their way around horses simply because I don’t believe young horses no matter how “broke” need to be matched with beginner owners/riders.
Weight Limit: 170 lbs. He weighs about 1000+lbs so even though he is a draft cross – I’d still say he needs to carry rider & tack max weight total of 200 lbs for his comfort and long term soundness. There are no back issues nor soundness issues with him.
Arena: Tucker has a lovely walk, a smooth trot, beautiful extended trot and takes his leads nicely. He’s light and responsive to cues, staying nicely in front of your leg. He has primarily been ridden western but would shine in the dressage / working equitation arena too. He’s versatile enough to excel in whatever discipline you choose if given the chance.
Trail Star: Non-spooky and happy to explore, Tucker rides alone or with others, making him a great trail partner.
Driving Experience: Tucker is also trained to drive, adding another layer to his versatility.
Easy Keeper: Tucker has excellent barefoot hooves, is easy to handle for trimming, stands tied, loads, and hauls great.
Herd-Friendly: Tucker thrives with kind companions. LOVES playing with our 3-year-old gelding, running, playing.
