CHARLIE is the type of horse who is best described as HANDSOME. No other word really does justice to this guy’s presence. He makes you swoon…and there’s just no way around it.
He came to us as a stud and was recently castrated. Charlie hadn’t been handled much in at least the last 5 or so years, so we have been reteaching the basic things like catching, leading, petting, bathing, etc.
Charlie is sound and very health. He is an easy keeper.
Charlie is very reasonable, especially given the lack of recent handling and the fact that he was only recently castrated. We are hopeful that his good mindedness will be the start of a great recipe that an experienced adopter can build upon.
Charlie will need an adopter who is either skilled at training or who has the resources to hire a qualified trainer. We haven’t assessed yet to see if he knows what a saddle and bridle are.
