Buckeye Acres Whalon and Willie

It is with a heavy heat and a lot of pride we offer Whalon and Willie. These truely are the “Blues Brothers”. This team of Blue Roan , Percheron / Friesian/quarter horse crossed brothers are a team like no other. These jaw dropping geldings will both steal your heart . take notice this opportuntunity has only arisen due to a death in the family and change of circumstances. No one would ever let these boys go.
They not only ride beautifully, they are a strong driving team.
These powerhouse team was purchased from the famous Cowgirl auction and when you are the winning bid there, you are getting world class trained horses.
These guys were expertly trained by the incredible Family at Buckeye Acres. They have more bells and whistles than we know.
Willie has a wonderful disposition, and has carried all levels of riders. He is 10years old and 15.3 hands of love. He drives single , team ,trail rides, dressage, a little, jumping and great in Western.
With his velvet smooth gaits and well mannered personality, Willie will be your trusted friend.
Whalon is the larger of the two,  at 8 years old and 16 hands this powerhouse thrives when he drives. Whalon, just as talented and educated as his big brother, requires a confident, quiet rider. He loves challenge. He loves a challenging trail and appreciates having a job to focus on.
Both boys are easy to catch and always up for some scratches. They get along well in a herd and love their trail rides down to the river.
Whalon and Willie have been together their whole lives and we desire to keep them together. They do both ride off by themselves with no problems at all, so if your hitting the trails or arena solo, you won’t have any issues. They both do great in groups with other horses and will lead or follow without concern.
These brothers and barn favorites are so friendly, with coats of many colors. Watching their blues change through the seasons is a an absolute delight.
Trained by the Buckeye Acres family, these guys are real show stoppers when driving through town. They have recently been driven in parades and gave rides for the holidays through town.
Calm cool and collected these guys are always ready for an adventure.
