Spartacus is 17h, big and handsome Buckskin 2016 gelding. His sire is Saphiro, Lusitano. Dam Klassic Art “Ditto” by Art Deco, Elite Main Marebook listed GOV (German Oldenburg Verband) who was sound and healthy until 32 years old.
Spartacus was trained for many months by top professional dressage riders and is very well schooled. He is quiet, well mannered, and comfortable to ride, though he is a big, forward horse who is still inexperienced, advanced rider is best. His ground manners are excellent and he is a very friendly, in-your-pocket horse who loves attention, treats, grooming and has no vices.
He has not been regularly ridden or trained other than some longing and walk-trot riding for over a year due to owner’s physical health, and finances. Sale reasonably local to central pa/md/northern VA is preferred due to the trial period, farther away will be considered. Lease to the right situation in the pa/md/va area is possible. A generous trial period due to his long time off is expected.
Best placement for him would be pleasure, hacking out/trail riding, lower to upper level (but not high level) dressage, just a great horse to do lots of things with and enjoy having a horse who loves attention and is absolutely gorgeous, healthy, sound, and wonderful to have in any barn. Only the best permanent awesome home will be considered for this very special horse.
