Paso Fino Horses for Sale

When Ponce de Leon brought horses to Puerto Rico from Hispaniola in 1509 he had no idea that 500 years later their offspring would be featured in our classified ads for Paso Finos. Literally translated as "fine step," the Paso Fino has two basic strains in the U.S.—The Puerto Rico Paso Fino and the Columbian Paso Fino. Possessing a nice disposition, the horse is known for being able to carry a large rider comfortably for long periods of time. An 800 lb. Paso can carry a 250 pound rider over the worst trails for hours the secret being how they move and how they are built. If you want a smooth ride for the long run, check out the Paso Fino in our classified ads.
