Description

Fantastic Two-in-One package! 2016 gray 16h TB cross mare with lovely gaits and talent as a Hunter, Eventer or Working Equitation . She is sound, handy, quick, fearless, and possesses floating gaits, a natural cadence in trot and canter. Originally purchased as a dressage prospect, she quickly showed her preference for the fences, especially as a Hunter, with her neatly folded knees and solid tempo. Willow is a real princess, kind and fun to ride. She is good in a group and gets along well with other horses in pasture. Stands well for the farrier, ties and cross ties, polite, with excellent ground manners, trailers well. Hard black feet and gorgeous tight legs too. She loves to be ridden out, trail rides and canters cross country. She will light up at the sight of a jump! She is schooled to Second level Dressage, and knows Shoulder-In Haunches-in, Leg yield with nice lengthenings. Because I don't jump any more (age 73) I bred her to my spectacular 16h1+ Lusitano Stallion Galileu. He is Stallion Tested, Approved in Portugal and a USDF Regional Champion Sport Horse . He is known for his dressage talent (currently showing PSG, training GP) easygoing temperament and charismatic good looks. The foal to be born in 2023 from this breeding should be a superb all-around athlete with talent to burn! Are you looking to raise a Champion Working Equitation horse? This one should fulfill all your dreams! There is lots of color in Willow's pedigree (see below) and Galileu is color tested heterozygous gray with buckskin (black base, one creme gene) underneath, so you have a good chance of a colored foal. In the photos, I have included a pic of a Galileu filly from a chestnut QH mare to show you how prepotent his genes are. I wish I were young enough to ride this youngster when it matures!
