Sir Ian is a barn favorite wherever he goes! This “good all-around guy” is a 14-year-old 17 hand dark bay draught cross gelding sadly sold by his owner through no fault of his own. Best for an intermediate riding simply because he’s a big mount. He’s been used mostly for flat work with some jumping. Sir Ian has had dressage audits with Laura Wells Whitcomb and Ann Guptill. He has been professionally ridden for the last three years and has had instruction from famed Olympic equestrian rider Michael Page and “interned” with SUNY Cobleskill as one of their mounts.
Sir Ian is a registered Performance Horse. He has hunter-paced three times in a plain snaffle with a standing, and occasionally a German martingale. He is shod every 6 weeks and his last shoeing was 7/3/2019. He doesn’t need any special shoes and his Coggins/vaccinations are up to date.
Sue Peterson of Another Farm in Woodbury, CT, is selling him for the owner and her cell phone is: 203-233-0944. No emails, please.
