This is Voila, AKA Willie. He has been my horse for 7 years, and now it’s time for him to teach someone else. I’m currently in college and I just feel like I don’t give him what he needs.
Willie has a good show history and a great temperament, he’s very sweet and just wants treats and cuddles.
He has jumped up to 4’3, and shown up to 2nd level dressage. He has schooled up to 3rd level.
I haven’t jumped him in a few months and wouldn’t jump him any higher then 3ft. He has arthritis in his knees, so if you do want him to jump and school more you will need to do injections. He has had them plenty of times before, with no reaction. He also has club foot in his front left hoof.
He is a great teacher and horse to learn on, he has the talent to be a beginner or advanced horse.
FOR BEGINNERS, he MUST be lunged before you ride, he does have a buck on him when he gets excited or if you smack him too hard. He will also NEED training rides.
I’d rather have him go to someone with riding experience due to the buck he has on him, but if you constantly work him or lunge him beforehand he won’t buck. But as a warning he can buck. His bucks usually aren’t huge and are just for fun.
He is a kick ride, he’s very lazy. I typically use a dressage whip and a pair of roller spurs, it usually works fine and I have no troubles. You will need a strong leg with him.
He’s a really good boy and has taken very good care of me these last few years, I really want him to go to a good home.
