TALK ABOUT A QUEEN!!! Jasmine is a stocky built 1200lb mare standing around 14.3hh, she is 7 yr old and has some very nice markings. We bought Jasmine from an Amish kid in Michigan who trained her with natural horsemanship methods. She is trained to lay down for mounting from the ground or she will lay down for you to dismount from the saddle, which is a great tool to have for anyone who has knee or hip issues or if you are handicapped. She has been taught all about leg pressure and will ride without a bridle. She will ride with a rein around her neck or just totally by useing your feet. She will back, spin, turn, sidepass both ways, lope and slide stop all by using leg cues. Since owning her we have thrown everything at her (literally) trying to scare her and I believe she is as close to bombproof as any horse can be. We have had her camping, used her around cows, trail ridden her hundreds of miles, used her to clear new trails on while running a chainsaw and cutting tree limbs off of her and she is always great. Although she is a mare, she is never marish! She will haul standing directly beside of another horse and even when it comes to feeding time she will eat right out of the same trough as her pasture mates and not bite or kick. We have ponied other horses off of her and used her to break colts to lead. Our kids have trail rode her which you can see in the video. She has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. No matter where she goes or what she does, Jasmine is not spooky acting. She has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that she is asked too. She has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. She will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. She has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. She in one of the friendliest horses that you will find, in fact she will follow you around and even go for a job with you. She has a great attitude about whatever she is asked to do. One lucky person is about to get the love of their life with this gal!!! Feel free to call Jason at 606-416-2570 with any questions.
