Description

“Auggie” Super-solid ex-ranch horse for experienced rider. Not fazed by anything on trails including bikes, dogs, strollers, hoverboards, sideshows, etc. Hacks out alone or in groups. Same horse on and off-property, pull him off the trailer for a clinic, show, rally, or trail ride. Flashy deep gold Palomino in summer, gorgeous dapples in winter and lofty action behind. Has been schooling intro to classical dressage and showing Cowboy Dressage and getting 8’s on free gaits and halts.

Sensitive and smart, he doesn’t give anything away but is an amazing, solid partner. Perfect for an experienced amateur or pro looking to step down in impact but not in quality, interest, or fun.

Has tons of buttons, lateral work WTC, gates, backs, goes through water, etc. Would be fabulous at trail trials with his laid-back been there, done that attitude but has the looks and movement, especially behind, to excel in Cowboy or Western Dressage. Comes with a reference from Cowboy Dressage clinician and judge Susan Doctor. On maintenance but has never taken a lame step.

He's a fabulous horse and I would keep him as my trail and go-do-fun-things horse if I could but real estate is too expensive in the Bay Area! He has some quirks which I am happy to discuss at length and is not suitable for beginners.
