Description

S’more is an easy going boy looking for a home with a very abitious young rider.

He came to us in October 2017 after his kid outgrew him. He is very sweet on the ground and loves to be loved on and groomed. Undersaddle, this pony loves to work. He rides in a double jointed loose ring snaffle in Dressage and over fences. He has 3 very nice gaits, and can collect and extend out in all 3. S’more can confidently do second level Dressage, and is beautiful with his lateral movements including leg yield, shoulder in, haunches in, and half pass. He has his walk to canter transitions and can do flying changes. He is working on his canter pirouettes. He could go straight Dressage if desired, but he does enjoy his jumping.

Over fences, S’more is confident to the fences. He jumps 3’3” with ease and is happy with bigger fences. Cross country, he can get flat if the rider allows him to, but is easy to gather back up. Water is never an issue with this boy, and he knows his job. He has just successfully completed his first Novice event, and has schooled training level.

S’more loads, ties, clips, crossties, groundties, and stands for the farrier. You name it, we’ve probably had him do it. He is up to date on coggins and shots, barefoot, and his teeth are good.

Included in his price is his Wintec 2000 pony saddle. I may be able to part with his bridle as well.

He is looking for his perfect match. He is not a beginner pony and does require the occasional trainer tune up. He has been professionally trained for two years.
