2016 APHA Floatn Ona Breeze, smokey black Tovero stallion (with roaning). 14.2HH on a great set of sturdy, correct, sound legs. A beautiful thick mane and tail compliment his pretty head and kind eyes. Already has his genetic testing results. All negative with exception of OWLS gene carrier.
Even-Steven. Calm and easy going. Has been farm raised and handled by the entire family since birth. Has excellent ground manners. Behaves like a gelding (when not trying to flirt across the pasture) and is low on the pecking order. Respects the electric fence too. Every new encounter - tarps, ATVs, tree branches, tractors, etc is accepted with incredible curiosity. There isn't much 'spook' to this guy. Doesn't really accept pasture invaders of the canine sort, but does well with them tagging along for trail rides. Call to him across the pasture and he'll run up to you at the gate. He enjoys having a job.
Started as a 3 yo slow and steady. Easy to ride. W/T/C, takes both leads. This summer, graduated from an o-ring snaffle to a low port reiner. Transitioned beautifully. Neck reins. Works off legs and seat too. Beginning to spin and perform rollbacks.
Has been in training since 3 years old, with essentially 3 months with the trainer/3 months home to continue training cycles. Travels easy in a trailer and does well with other horses at clinics and shows. Has had weekend long ranch trail and cowboy dressage clinics, and exposure/socializing at local shows. Our primary goal with him has been ranch riding comp, but due to unforeseen circumstances hasn't been able to compete. Most of his riding experience has been in both indoor/outdoor arenas, with some light trail riding. Really enjoys warm baths and loves to play with the water hose. He is not difficult to clip the bridle path, muzzle, or ears.
Cutting, reining, cow horse, ranch. May be suitable as a speedier disciplined mount as he matures, and can go in any direction. Sire came from a working cattle ranch in Canada, with an all-around pedigree. Dam has heavy QH cutting breeding. Although we have not had an opportunity to get him on cows, he did naturally work over a very forward donkey that wandered into the outdoor arena one day..., has not had a rope thrown from him yet.
Currently suitable for an intermediate/advanced rider with stallion and training experience.
This sweetheart is UTD on dental, vaccines, Coggins, hoof trims.
Wolf teeth have been removed. He has only gone barefoot and has never been lame. Stays balanced between trims (6 week/8 week summer/winter cycles). He stands well for the vet, farrier, and sheath cleaner.
None. He needs to be ridden more often than I can ride. He needs a quiet, patient, consistent rider to continue his training and career that is familiar with stallion handling.
