Footnote's Martini is ready to go! She solidly started under saddle with 3 quality and smooth gaits, good transitions, basic flatwork, started over fences and courses, and is wonderful on trail rides. She is brave and calm but sensitive enough to listen and be a quick learner. She is young and green but is sensible and gentle with no vices. She is ready to go to work every ride. Being a typical fjord, she can take a break and come right back where she left off and of course she is an easy keeper. Tini is good to stable, live in a paddock, or out in a herd. She is a lighter sportier build around 14 hh with average bone. She has a nice wither, is build correctly, carries herself uphill out of the wither, has soft throat latch, great joints, and of course all the necessary primitive markings. She goes in a snaffle and a medium wide tree and tolerates a spur and crop with no concerns. Tini is the 2nd daughter of our imported German stallion Vajeur who has successfully evented (won at his first Campbell Valley Horse Trials 2014 at pre-training), shown dressage (in CA), been a demo horse at PNE HCBC Horse Days in Vancouver 2014, been used in lessons, and enjoyed on trails. Tini's dam is Miramichi, herself the daughter of imported stock from Germany, and Mira shares the same CV as Vajeur in many ways and currently lives in busy Southlands (central Vancouver) where she has also been used for several community events. Tini is best suited for a proficient amateur or someone committed to a training and lesson program. Footnote's Martini is registered with the NFHR and will be a lovely all around horse that you can go, take to shows in any discipline, and share with friends. If you are interested in keeping your vet, farrier, and training bills down and your happiness quotient up it might be time to consider a fjord! Located in Langley BC at the Blaine, WA border.
