5 year old 17hh Percheron/Friesian grulla gelding.
(*Obviously some throwback mix in there from a breed that carries the grulla gene).
Broke to ride and drive, been in the mountains, lots of trails.
Stands well to be shod, loads great, super willing.
Wears a size 4 shoe.
Fits an 8" gullet, will fit most standard size headstalls if maxed out.
Narrow like a light horse, comfy to sit him all day.
Great bone, great feet, very light in the mouth with a D ring snaffle.
Moves off leg pressure well and a low-hand neck rein. Quick off verbal queues too.
If you've got quiet hands and legs, are confident and capable, you don't need to be very experienced for him. He's a pleaser and very gentle.
Stands like a statue for mount/dismount.
Beautiful big mover with a nice casual walk. Once in a lifetime breed/color/temperament outcome.
