Retired 4 Star Parelli instructor needs to rehome personal dream horse. I am no longer able to offer her the interaction she desires and thrives on. A product of the renown Atwood Ranch breeding program in Red Bluff, CA, "JoyFull" has completed Parelli Level 3 and some of Level 4. She works obstacles on a long line, loves playing at liberty and under saddle. She is responsive to seat and leg as demonstrated by snappy departures and graceful transitions, turns on the forehand and on the haunches and leg yields and half passes. She has some of the nicest gaits (especially her canter) of any horse I've ridden in my 40 plus years of working with horses.

For the recent videos, I basically just pulled her out of the pasture and said, “What can you give me today.” For the last three years I have been only trail riding her and that only on a few occasions, so her skills are rusty, but the videos show her playful temperament and that there is a solid foundation there. Because she is rusty I have reduced her price significantly. I think she would do fine for someone with advanced intermediate or above skills. The more you know the more eager she will be to meet you. She likes variety if you ask her politely.

She has traveled quite a lot around the country with me and takes new environments calmly and maintains her weight well. Of course, she bathes, clips, deworms and stands well for the farrier. She will meet you in the pasture just to see who you are. She has had exposure to cattle and driving them. She has been ridden on trails all across the country. She has also been ridden in Pat Parelli's Master Class which included quite a lot of rein work with contact and though the bit was quite new to her at the time, she took it all in stride. She rides in a halter, hackamore, snaffle or no bridle at all.

I had thought she would be in my life, her whole life. This has been a very difficult decision for me. I want her to have the best life she can and I believe that is with someone who will enjoy her talents and quirks as much as I have, but am no longer able to do.

As a 2 year old she was valued at $18,000.

Due to life changes I am very motivated to sell and will consider all offers. Thank you for your interest!
