Walter is a quiet boy, usually hanging with Albert and off by themselves. He came to us from the Kingsbury seizure, near death and a stallion. He’s come a long way and is ready to start training and find his home! Walter ties and has been seen several times by the farrier.

Hazel participated in the 2023 Dakota Showdown Horse Trainer Challenge where she did very well, however did have some anxiety in the show environment. She is solid under saddle but needs a confident rider. Her go to reaction is to stand still, and needs to be sure her rider is confident before she will listen.

Phoebe is an Arabian mare who is estimated to be in her early 20s. Another extremely skinny auction save, she’s gained weight and is doing well on a full senior diet (6-9 qts of senior feed twice a day) and is offered full choice hay, though she can’t really eat it. Phoebe is smart, energetic

Eloise
Eloise was part of a large seizure in Nebraska and was originally rehabilitated by another rescue. As a settlement to avoid criminal charges, the owner agreed to sell the horses at a public auction. We attended the auction to help keep the horses safe, and Penelope and Eloise ended up coming back with us. Her
